There is one lector scheduled for each weekend Mass.  The lector is provided with the scripture readings to prepare to share the Word of God at the Mass. All lectors will receive a lector workbook that contain all the readings for the year. This book will help with prepping for the Mass, pronunciation of words, and gives anecdotes of each scripture reading.
